Day 10 Reflection

Race and ethnicity intersect with mental health in a multitude of ways. One of those ways that there is an intersection is with the significant disparities within mental health amongst various races and ethnicities. These disparities take form of restricted or limited access to mental health care, deep rooted stigma of mental health within certain cultures, lack of diversity amongst mental health providers, and distrust of the health care system.
